Why Support Eric and his family?

We truly feel that the most support comes to us through prayer. We pray daily for the treatment and the medical teams working on the Lords behalf. We have been blessed with an amazing medical team, and then with amazing friends to walk alongside us through yet another medical crisis. This is just the latest of three medical situations in the past 5 years. All of which have left him off work or out of a job for an extended period of time

Our family started this latest crisis, our Cancer journey on August 29, 2016. Eric has not worked since mid-October and won’t return until at least September 1, 2017. His coworkers at Clark County Community Development made sure he had his full pay for two months, and on January 1, 2017 he was converted to Disability through the County program, however that runs out on June 30, 2017. As of July 1 2017, our family will be solely responsible for our health insurance payments as Eric’s COBRA payments fall off his employers insurance roles and onto ours. This will cost us $2300 a month. Between Marissa’s income and Eric’s disability income, we will not make enough to cover this additional bill.

We have several ways for people to help.

Spaghetti Feed:

On March 25, we will be hosting a Spaghetti Feed from 5 pm – 7:30 pm at the Tualatin Valley Elks Lodge to help cover some of our expenses. ADVANCE Tickets are available online for $10/ person, we will ask $15/person at the door. Buy your tickets NOW through Brown Paper Tickets (click below)
